Building on It Limited is a small, long-running London software studio. We design and develop data-driven applications for organisations that depend on getting their information right.
What we do
For more than two decades we've built bespoke software on the Microsoft stack — cloud platforms, databases and web applications — for organisations across construction, education and the public sector. Some of those projects have grown into the long-running products we still develop today.
In 2026 we launched MemoLeap: our first consumer-facing brand, a family of educational mobile apps grounded in the cognitive science of memory.
How we work
We're a small team based in Canary Wharf. Our clients talk to the same people who design, build and maintain their systems — there's no layer of account management between you and the engineering work. This is how we've always worked, and it's why our oldest client systems are still running and being improved more than a decade on.
