Background

Lanes School of Driving is a leading driving school operating in London, Surrey and Kent with nearly 100 cars in operation. They required a system to store and process their pupil contact and booking records.

Rapid Search

With busy telephone lines and 1000's of past and current pupils a rapid an accurate search facility was a key requirement.

Our system opens to a screen allowing search by name, pupil number, address, telephone, postcode or any part of the foregoing.

Postcode Integration

Integration with the Royal Mail postcode address finder enables staff to ask potential pupils for their postcode and house number, thus ensuring accurate and consistent records.

The postcode data is accessed via a subscription web service and is therefore regularly updated with changes.

Windows Interface

This project differs from many of our others in that it is a Windows Application with the well known menu and toolbar system. Users thus benefit from an intuitive feel to the system, similiar to commonly used applications.
