Background

Firmfix Doors & Windows are a leading manufacturer and fitter of bespoke conservatories and windows in the West of England.

Although they had a customer and project database it was hard to use and searching was particularly cumbersome. Our brief was to design a solution with an interface where customer data could quickly be referenced.

Opening to Search Screen

The system opens directly to a customer and project search screen. The customer's name, postcode, job reference or any part of them followed by the return key displays all matching records in a few seconds.

The required record can then be opened in detail by clicking the icon next to it. A split screen style form then displays the contact details together with the list of the customer's job. Staff click on a job and the bottom part of the form populates with job details.

Microsoft Excel Integration

Various working and management reports all output directly into Excel format to enable further manipulation as required.
